The previous version was from 1991 so I was recommended to buy the 2015 version. Since the previous version and this current version are over 20 years apart, the newer version has a lot more newer stuff in it (especially with the advent of computers with faster processors, GUI's, etc...yay Moore's Law). This is an amazing and well written textbook on the complex subject that is groundwater modeling. For anyone curious about groundwater modeling or getting in depth into it, I highly recommend this book. I got it for my groundwater modeling class for grad school.

I am only giving it 4/5 stars because after a month several of the pages started falling out...despite the fact the textbook was bought brand new. I think there is something wrong with the binding. Whenever I open the book I hear small little cracking noises coming from the binding. Several of my class-mates who got the same book started noticing several of their pages were falling out too. If the publishers or authors of this book are reading this review, please fix this problem! Your book content is amazing but the book's structural integrity is failing!

I kinda was hoping there was an updated version to the 1st edition after 1992. This is the best groundwater modeling book that could ever exist in history. The book worth thousand of dollars and Im so happy to have it finally.

Definitely Worth the Money!

I am so thrilled that this music has been released in a single book! Buying each individual song at $5 a piece didn't seem reasonable to me. If you're a fan of the music on the show, this book is definitely worth the money. With all of that said, I'm sad to say that the book is not perfect.

On the plus side: It is almost an exact replica of what you hear on the BOMBSHELL recording. All of the songs are vocal line with piano accompaniment with the exception of "Never Give All the Heart," in which the melody is doubled in the piano part for most of the song. All of the songs include the full dance breaks and most of the songs include cues for the chorus/back up singers.

On the negative side: The following songs do NOT have the cues for the chorus: "20th Century Fox Mambo," "Cut, Print... Moving On," and "Let's Start Tomorrow Tonight." There are a few chorus lines missing from "Public Relations," but otherwise the song is complete. A few of the songs have minor omissions of a few measures here and there, mostly percussive interludes the probably won't be noticed. Another small detail: "Our Little Secret" is a solo version for JFK, Marilyn's minor interjections/harmonies are not written out.

Another minor detail that bothers me is that the labeling of who sings what is inconsistent. Sometimes characters are listed by their Smash name (Ivy, Karen, etc.), sometimes they're listed by their Bombshell name (Marilyn, Joe, etc.), and the line in "Never Met a Wolf..." sung by Nick Jonas is listed as "Nick Jonas," and not by the name of his character. Random at best, but it is something that most people probably wouldn't notice or care about.

Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and can't wait to start singing through the book with my friends. The music is definitely intended for a skilled pianist; some of it is extremely fast ("Don't Say Yes Until I Finish Talking") and intricate ("Let's Be Bad"), so if you're hoping for something light and easy this is not the book for you.

Note-for-note transcriptions, a true score!

I will confess, I love everything about "Smash", that is, except NBC's decision to cancel it. It is through this music that I will be able to share this wonderful experience with those who never got bitten by the bug the way I did. As a musician, it was something I just had to have in my library. And believe me, this is a musician's score, with rich chord voicings and soaring melodies matched beautifully with lyrics that explore every intricate rhyming possibility. This all should come as no surprise since "Bombshell" was written by the guys who brought you "Hairspray".

A word to the wise, however, if you don't like playing sharps, this score will present a challenge to you, but I assure you, it will be a welcome one. In a perfect world, one day "Bombshell" would make it to Broadway, though that seems doubtful at this point. Make no mistake, this is a Broadway score on a par with the best that Broadway has to offer and all for the price of the book itself.

Impressive but not amazing.

This books was well written and the few interviews were well handled and provided solid and useful information. The images are fairly good all around throughout the book as well. My only problem with the book is the lack of content. There's about 5 pages of text tops. Don't get me wrong I love the images too but I was using this as a source for my dissertation that was on the values of letterpress in graphic design and was hoping this book would have been more helpful.

Books need editors, I've said it once I'll say it again!

This is a great book as it has collected, I'm not sure how, a group of designers who are all clearly excellent print-makers too. A wonderful resource for ideas, and for the technical reader too. My only complaint, and it may seem minor, is that there seems to have been little or no editing of the texts. A good editor not only strengthens the language of a book, they also solidify (sometimes) the idea of the book. In the case of this book, the thesis seems to be nothing more than to showcase great work, without much in the way of contextualization. Still, as a printer and a designer, I'm happy to have it in my library.

Everyone I've shared this book with has gone on to purchase a copy for themselves. Get yours quick before they run out of copies!! Easily my favourite book in my collection.

This anthology has many stories, each by the same author, but they all manage to all be different while featuring the title sex act. I enjoyed this enough that I have already bought another book by the same author.

The Buddhist revolution

This rare book is not available here (the one copy listed was sold recently) but can be found in a number of libraries.
It is a remarkable history of Indian Buddhism and the legacy of Axial Age religion in the Indian vein. The history of Indian religion is filled with many myths and distortions, especially as to the history of Hinduism and the emergence of the text of the Bhagavad Gita. Bazaz's narrative, while stylized and fashioned after the modern theme of revolution is a most engaging portrait of the history of Buddhism, and its subsequent defeat and destruction by reactionary Brahminism. New Agers confused by the conventional narratives of Hindu history and the domination of Brahmin guruism should take note of this radical history of a once radical revolution, the primordial Buddhism of the Axial Age, and its attempt reform of Hinduism, followed by its defeat, destruction of its legacy, and the massacre of its adherents. The later history of the Tibetan Buddhism of refugees follows!
The fraudulent charcter of the Bhagavad Gita is poorly understood in the blind veneration of this book as a sort of 'bible', something it is not.

For those of you who hate text books this is a great resource. :P

Fenton writes in a way that is not too difficult to understand for those of you who are just beginning to study poetry. He's engaging and interesting while he skims over the basics and sinks into the more difficult aspects of English poetry. If you are the kind of person who would rather read a book than study a text book this is the perfect choice for you. This book was required for an English class that I was taking and I found that I was able to understand the more complicated poets a little easier than I have with any other texbook I've read.
