The story was really good

My only complaint is the unsafe sex. Spoiler alert: two in-store partners should not have unprotected oral sex. Especially if one of them had multiple partners. But the story is very good otherwise.

Not what I hoped for

This was really disappointing...the plot sounded great and I was excited to read it but the prologue is so long I forgot who the other MC was and when he's introduced he's portrayed as a creep and it never really wore off for me. Marty takes far too long to realise he was a tool in high school and even longer to apologise to Adrian - who in fact apologises first for getting a little well deserved revenge and is actually chastised by his friends for wanting that revenge. What Marty never apologises for is his behaviour towards the queens which borders on harassment in Adrienne's case. When they do sort out their issues there's no real relationship development at all and overall I probably would've enjoyed reading about the queens and the club without Marty ever making an appearance at all.
