Sometimes spoken of as ""the person who discovered the 'cure' for comprehension deficits,"" Manzo pioneered the concepts of ""mental modeling"" and ""reciprocal teaching""- two of the most generative and enduring ideas in pedagogy in the 20th century. He has written several books and many juried articles. Tony has also created several teacher-friendly instruments to aid in the assessment of thinking, reader styles, and social-emotional development. In 1993 he was granted the International Reading Association's Wm. S. Gray Citation of Merit, its highest award for lifetime creative research and problem-solving in the field."

Ula Manzo is a seasoned professor and public school administrator. She is author/creator of Motor Imaging, one of the most robust means devised for improving vocabulary. She is also co-author of several textbooks, juried articles, and a pioneering informal reading (thinking) inventory.
Julie Jackson Albee is Assistant Professor in the department of Curriculum and Instruction at Northwest Missouri State University. Reading Assessment for Diagnostic-Prescriptive Teaching

This is a product I needed for an online reading course - as a teacher. I've reviewed the book and it looks to be very informative and a useful tool in evaluating readers - anywhere from pre-kindergarden to 11th grade. I would recommend this book to anyone who is serious about assessing reading skills and learning about what to do about reading deficiencies in young readers.

The book didn't even look like it was opened! & deliver was right on time. This book is regularly close to $200 but i got it for $50. Great deal!!
